Information processed when you use InfoUndi
Website and infrastructure data
InfoUndi is delivered through Cloudflare. Like most web infrastructure providers, Cloudflare may process request information such as IP address, browser and device details, requested URL, timestamps and security signals to deliver, protect and troubleshoot the service.
Product analytics
InfoUndi uses Google Analytics 4 to understand whether the workspace loads and how visitors use locations, boundary layers, election periods and analytical lenses. InfoUndi does not intentionally send candidate names, news headlines, search text, precise map coordinates or directly identifying profile information in its custom analytics events. Google Signals and advertising-personalisation signals are disabled in the current site configuration.
Browser preferences
The selected interface language and appearance preference are stored in local browser storage so they can be restored on a later visit. These preferences stay on the device unless the browser removes them.
Live news updates
During an active election watch, the browser may connect to Supabase Realtime using a public, restricted project key to receive notice that a news snapshot has changed. The browser then requests the updated public feed from InfoUndi. This connection does not create an InfoUndi user account.
Email correspondence
If you email InfoUndi, the message, email address and any information you include are used to answer the enquiry, investigate a correction or maintain an appropriate record of the correspondence. Do not send passwords, identity documents, bank details or other unnecessary sensitive information.
Cookies and similar technologies
Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies subject to the visitor's browser settings and applicable consent choices. Google describes its processing in the Google Privacy Policy. Local storage is used for language and appearance preferences.
Advertising
InfoUndi does not currently serve programmatic advertising. Before advertising is enabled, this policy will be updated to identify the provider and purposes, an appropriate consent-management mechanism will be deployed where required, and advertising will follow the InfoUndi Advertising Policy.
Service providers and international processing
InfoUndi uses service providers including Cloudflare for hosting and security, Google for analytics, Supabase for real-time data delivery and GitHub for software hosting and deployment workflows. These providers may process data in countries outside Malaysia under their own terms and safeguards.
Retention and disclosure
InfoUndi retains correspondence only as long as reasonably needed for the enquiry, correction record, security or legal obligations. InfoUndi does not sell personal information. Information may be disclosed when required by law, to protect the service, or to the providers needed to operate it.
Your choices and rights
You can clear browser storage and cookies through browser settings, use browser privacy controls, or contact InfoUndi to ask about personal information contained in direct correspondence. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to certain processing.
Children
InfoUndi is a general-audience public information service and is not designed to collect personal information from children.
